Delicious food and a great diner experience. It's a nice little joint where you can go and get great fresh made food, and really enjoy spending time with the family. Its just that nostalgic feel of going to the diner after a family event and really just enjoying the time. The food is great, filling, and extremely inexpensive. If you are looking for quick new school restaurant where people wait on you in their hands and knees this isn't your place. If you are looking for a place where the waitress will know you and your family and actually care about how you are come here.

I just moved to this area a little over 8 months ago. I have been trying neew places to eat. This was my first and possibly my last. The Potatoes ( hash browns) are good. I really love that , they make potatoes. I ordered a veggie omelet. I think the onions /green pepper are frozen. Smh. The omelet would have been fabulous if all ingredients was fresh. It was a bit over stuffed.

Aurora's is a family style diner. This is the kind of place you can bring your kids and no one is going to be offended. They serve breakfast all day, which is what I love. Breakfast, I don't think is a hard type of cuisine to make however, Aurora's breakfast is delicious. The eggs always taste fresh and the pancakes are fluffy. They have lots of great combinations at really cheap prices. The owner, who's name is actually Aurora, is just plain awesome. I feel like if there was something you wanted to eat but was not on the menu she would whip it right up for you. What makes Aurora's superior to other restaurants of this genre is that the ingredients are fresh or they at least taste fresh, which is just as good! Great little place to grab some comfort food after a long day or like me, breakfast for dinner.

Stopped in here for brunch last Sunday based on all the positive reviews but was greatly disappointed. Waited 10 minutes before the waitress bothered to come by and take our order (and they were not busy). She was rude and unprofessional. The brunch itself was OK. Mediocre at best. They did come around with coffee once by they almost poured regular into my decaf without even asking if I wanted any. When our waitress did come around with more decaf, she poured it in so sloppily that it splashed all over the place, out of the cup, into the saucer and everywhere. No apologies. Needless to say, I won't be going back there.

We had breakfast and ordered the corned beef hash. Yummy!!! I've never had corned beef hash with the real stuff. It was delicious and not bad reheated. It was a pretty sizable portion, so I took some home and had it for lunch with a fried egg the next day. My hubby's breakfast was really good too and the staff were really attentive and nice.

Love Aurora's! The food is fabulous and they treat you like family. I'm probably there once a week. Food is made from scratch and the portions are huge. One of my favorite spots.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so I headed over to this restaurant because the reviews were so good. Service was great, but the atmosphere and food were a disappointment. I ordered an omelette, and it was okay but nothing special. The owner came up to my table and gave me a carry out menu, letting me know that they do delivery! Since I only live a mile or two away I thought that was a great thing to offer. But I have called them four or five times, and they never pick up the phone! Just nothing special

I love their fresh soups and the lunch specials are real! Great fresh food, great service. The soups are delicious! My favorite place to eat!

After seeing the reviews for Aurora's restaurant, particularly the homemade corned beef hash, it went in my bookmarks right away. This past weekend I finally got a chance to try it. I took my little one and met my folks for breakfast, and was surprised by the fact that there were only a few customers there. It did pick up by the time we were done, but there was certainly no line. Maybe it was the extreme cold that morning. The waitress gave my little one a "late Xmas gift" which was a little stuffed pig, which made her squeal. She still loves her little "Peppermint Pig". They have a nice menu with some interesting choices for breakfast (including some skillets that you don't see at most normal diners), but I already knew what I wanted. We ordered once my folks got there, and the food came out in good time. It was nice that my daughter's meal was first out, and she loved the Mickey Mouse pancake. The waitress also told us that everything is homemade here, and I believe it. You have to appreciate that kind of love applied to the food they serve you. The corned beef hash was really good. No green peppers, thank you Aurora's. Lots of crispy potatoes and onion, with good chunks of corned beef. I will definitely be back for it, even though I also like the other kind (canned) as well. I will try some of the other menu options, too. The prices are reasonable, although I didn't really look at the lunch and dinner parts of the menu, and the service is great. This is definitely a place to go for a hearty breakfast when you've got some time to savor it (and stuff your face).

We went to this dirty run down hole in the wall to see what all the great reviews were about, we ordered off the breakfast menu, food took a very long time to come out. We asked the waitress how long the food would be she said it would be ready in a very disrespectful tone she walked back to the window to check on the food status and said apparently there in a hurry so I need the stuff right away the food was fair I would not recommend this place to anyone four and a half stars they're not even a half star in my book and to make things better she threw the bill on the table stay away

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! It's a little hole in the wall that some of our new neighbors recommended, so we thought we'd give it a try. My friend had a greek salad that was ample, tasty, and well topped. I ended up having the baked fish, and the portion was huge! I got a baked potato with it that was at least 3 pounds and 2 huge fillets of well seasoned and perfectly cooked fish. The prices were very reasonable, but the one down side is that the wait can be a little bit longer here as they only have 1 cook and a smaller waitstaff. Humble, small, and cheap. I love it.

If you're not going here for breakfast you need to be! I love that this is a legit family business. They have the friendliest staff and the sweetest cook. The owner comes around to greet guest giving such a personal experience. They even remember how I like my eggs! I could literally eat their skillets everyday for the rest of my life! I get cravings for their Mexican skillet daily!

My husband and I went to Aurora's for the first time today. The waitstaff were very friendly and food was DELICIOUS. I had the country skillet and my husband had the gyro skillet. Everything down to the fresh tzatziki sauce was delightful. I was especially impressed with the poached eggs I ordered. Not under or overdone at all. Hands down one of the best diners in the area. This lovely hidden gem will be a regular go to for us from now on.

I have never been disappointed in a meal here. Their portions are huge, especially the omelets and corned beef hash, which is homemade. Their fish and chips are great and all of their soups are delicious. The coffee is good in the morning, but the quality tapers off in the evening, so I usually avoid it for lunch or dinner. What I really like about this place is that they use fresh, high quality ingredients in their food and still manage to keep the prices low. The servers are always very pleasant and cheery, but the place is usually packed on the weekends so it can take a while for the food to be prepared. It is definitely worth the wait.

Awesome wait staff food is very good portion size is generous. Great family restaurant very clean I had the breakfast special the number 8 my daughter ordered her favorite spaghetti with butter no sauce the dish came out with really butter melted in a pan then the noddles are added with garlic toast. Loved it will be back

Aurora's does two things well - breakfast and lunch. And they might actually do three well, but I've never tried their dinners. The breakfast skillets, however, are amazing. My favorite for lunch, hands down, is a modified turkey club. The sammich I wanted wasn't on the menu, but after some back-and-forth with a very patient waitress, she fulfilled my turkey/bacon dream. And, bonus, they have deli and carving-style turkey available, the latter being my strong preference. I also had some sort of chicken soup before - chicken tortellini, I believe. I wasn't a huge fan of the tortellini, but that was due to the stuffing, not the preparation. The broth had very good flavor, though. The diner is rather small and service can be a tad slow at times. But everyone is super nice and the quality ingredients make this place worth checking out.

Omelets are always perfect, always (and I'm picky about omelets). Super friendly service. Great for breakfast and lunch.

Good dinerstyle food for lunch/dinner and really delicious breakfast/brunch items. Service is always wonderful and servers are nice, funny, and always remember yr name. Always willing to accommodate and make sure you leave happy and full.

Very good family restaurant. Check it out, some unique dish items too - which makes it more than just another boring american style family restaurant.Check it out!

This is a tiny family restaurant. It has a very cozy feel. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and they really don't charge very much. They serve the breakfast menu all the time and it is particularly good. I highly recommend the French Toast.

Went there for dinner out of the blue the other night. And bog was I pleasantly surprised! Delicious food, large portions, and awesome service,. Prices are great too. Definitely some good home cooking. Can't wait to go back!

Very good food I had the gyro and fries. Very large portions for a fair price. Chicken noodle soup was also very tasty and homemade.

Decided to try a new place, due to a recommendation...well this is my first five star rating. My fiance and I decided on breakfast...she had the country fried steak, I went with the standard ham, bacon, sausage special, with a side of homemade biscuits and gravy...did I mention homemade biscuits and gravy? Service outstanding, food outstanding, My tastebuds are still doing a happy dance....You really need to try this place. They make you feel like family

Great food. My boyfriend and I had the chicken gyro dinner and gyro dinner. Lots of food you get either a salad or soup with this and French friends, mashed or baked potato. We both got the Greek salads and everything was truly great. We both would highly recommend Auroras.

Although I like to cook @ home often, the home cookin' style of food or restaurants have never been my thing. I happened upon this little strip mall gem this past week end for dinner. There was a large group of us, and I don't think I heard a single complaint from any of them. I will say that the cheese sticks & nachos weren't great. I had the turkey dinner & lemon rice soup. The turkey dinner was huge, came on two plates and was much better than I was expecting after the apps!! Lemon rice soup was good, but I'm not an aficionado. The only issue I had with the place is that their menu is way too big. There were probably over 100 items on the menu! They could easily cut the selection in half and there would still be more than enough to choose from! If I lived closer, it would be a good place to take the family for a quiet home cooked dinner. If you live nearby, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Visited this past Satuday. I was STARVING and heard great reviews via yelp* - I have to say, this place didn't disappoint. It was two in the afternoon, and I ordered a veggie omelette and it was hot, delicious, and $5! If I was in the area, I'd go back again.

Hidden gem! Clean comfy environment, waitress was attentive and on top of things. The food was fresh and delicious and extremely affordable. You get a lot of bang for your buck! Will be back again soon!

Auroras' is a wonderful family resturant. Everything is made from scratch, sometimes one can tell her mood in the food ( sometimes sweet, salty, saucy). Service is warm and pleasant. Everything is clean, I mean not a spot on a knife! i love this place! I feel like it's my own cozy secret, even though everyone should stop in and try her cooking.
(4)Edison N.
Love the place I don't go anywhere else anymore! All types of food. Get the Greek chicken salad or any of the soups yum! try the whole 4 page menu! Lol Mexican Italian Greek traditional everything halal. The service is unbelievable you're treated like family the cook might stop by and visit you personally. The prices are under 10$ the servings are huge a salad and soup I'm full I stuff myself every time! The food is the best anywhere to die for! 5 big stars! must check out for yourself very friendly family environment.
(5)Liz B.
The specials are a bargain! Everything is homemade and good portions. If you like chicken lemon rice soup "lemony" this is The place! Rich and yummy rice pudding, great stuffed grape leaves.
(5)Mike M.
Home made corned beef hash, but my gosh, way more than I could eat and too heavy on the onions for my taste. Poached eggs were perfect. Worth waiting about 10 minutes for the owner to get there and unlock the establishment. Pancakes were pasty, heavy, and so not bisquick. prices are good, coffee good. very good service.
(3)Karen C.
My first impression for breakfast is always the coffee. If you can't make a good cup of coffee, you shouldn't be in the breakfast or restaurant business. Aurora's coffee is great--even the decaf! Fresh, dark & rich. I had the 2+2 breakfast with 2 pancakes, 2 slices bacon, and 2 over-easy eggs. My husband had the French Toast with his 2+2. Mmmm, everything was scrumptious & perfect...fresh, hot & fast. Kelli, our waitress, was extremely friendly & very knowledgeable. I can't wait to come back for lunch & dinner now! Please give Aurora's Family Restaurant your business... they've been open only 3 months.

This place is in my neighborhood, which has many family restaurants. This place is small, clean and friendly. Extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ate breakfast there and it was delicious, done right. I also recommend this place for small groups who need a little meeting place.
(4)Tr M.
True home cooked meals, large portions, creative specials. The soups are awesome -- no watered down broth-type soups. Prices are extremely reasonable.
